A set of seven Devonware jugs depicting the characters in the song Widecombe Fair. Each jug is approx 6 inches tall. Each character named and the last jug is "ole uncle Tom Cobley an all "Fully marked Royal Torquay Pottery and each jug numbered differently. By repute these hung in the "Prospect of Whitby" in London's East End for many years. One jug has slight rim chip the rest are perfect.£595 (stock no 80278)
